The tool is designed to enable users to quickly generate watershed maps for their selected county. The tool does not generate comprehensive hydrologic information; however, it should enable users to see the watersheds (HUC-12s), rivers and streams (NHD 100k), City boundaries, schools, wastewater treatment plants and drinking water treatment plants that fall within the selected County Boundary. Moreover, this service should provide a cursory understanding of how water moves through the watersheds, and communities within the area. You can use it as a digital interactive educational tool, or to print maps for the same purpose.
